Welcome to the University of Plymouth Rugby Club! One of the biggest, and clearly the best club within the Uni.

Recruiting new and talented players is fundamental to ensuring our continued success, and whether you’re a seasoned pro looking to play at the highest level, a complete beginner looking to try something new, or simply an average player who just loves the lash, there is a place for you within our club.

We have a fierce reputation on the pitch and are renowned for our lively behaviour off the pitch. Our socials are unique within Plymouth – notorious and not for the faint hearted, with passers by watching in amusement and jealousy. Our weekly socials are the envy of other clubs within the University. Every Wednesday night we take over C103s, after gentle lubrication at our main sponsor, Walkabout. We also have themed socials throughout the year, from smurf night to Topgun.

We currently have three teams; the first XV play in BUCS Western 2A and are currently holders of the BUCS Western cup, our second XV play in the Western 4A league, and our third team, affectionately known as our Titans, play in local combination cups.

This year the club we will be looking to build on last season and both the first and second team should be pushing for promotion, as well as once again dominating Marjon’s at Varsity.
